Job Title: Medical Lab Technician
Duration: Contract for 3 + months
Location: Pittsburgh, PA


Main Function: Conducts laboratory testing and other related computer, clerical and technical functions under the direct supervision of a Supervisor or Technologist. Test may be performed in Hematology, Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis or Serology. A Medical Technician will ordinarily be assigned to regular work in various departments of the laboratory. Specific assignments may change as necessitated by varying work loads.

Education: Must meet all professional requirements associated with CLA or MLT. Certification by the ASCP Board of Registry preferred or Board Eligible.

Experience: Must have working knowledge of all sections of the laboratory; may specialize in any section.
